Fadely: documents that expire on their own
That photo of your passport has been sitting in your camera roll for years. With Fadely you create a vault for a trip, a rental or some paperwork, set a date, and when that date comes it destroys itself. Nobody can recover anything. Not even you.
Passport, tickets, lease. With an expiry date.
Create a vault for each trip, rental or errand. When you no longer need it, it disappears, and you don't have to remember a thing.
AES-256 encryption from the first second
Every document is encrypted on your iPhone or iPad the moment you add it, with a different key for each vault.
It destroys itself
When time runs out, the key is gone. In the background when iOS allows it, and always before the vault can be opened again.
Reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before
Trip running long? Add 48 hours right from the notification, without opening the app.
Face ID and hidden content
It can ask for Face ID to get in, and it always covers your content when you switch apps.
Full brightness in one tap
Show the QR code on your boarding pass or ticket at the counter.
Scan, import or pick
Scan with the camera, import PDFs or pick photos. Includes a countdown widget.
What Fadely doesn't do
- No backups: lose your iPhone and you lose the documents. That's on purpose.
- No sync, with iCloud or anything else.
- Nothing is kept forever.
- No accounts, no servers, no ads.
Fadely pricing: try it free, pay once
- First vault: free, the full thing, with no limits or ads.
- Fadely Pro: $12.99, one-time payment, with unlimited vaults and Family Sharing. Launch price until November 17, 2026; after that it goes up.
No subscription. Payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. Prices shown are for the US App Store, in USD; the App Store shows the price for your country.
Privacy: nothing leaves your device
Fadely collects no data at all. Documents are encrypted with AES-256 and stored only on your iPhone or iPad, with each vault's key in the device Keychain. We have no servers, accounts or analytics, and reminders are local notifications.
Fadely FAQ
Can I recover a destroyed vault?
No. The key is gone and nobody can recover the documents, including us.
What happens if I change iPhones?
Vaults don't transfer: they're tied to the device they were created on.
How do I extend the deadline?
Inside the vault tap "+48 h", or long-press the reminder you get 24 hours and 1 hour before.
